Mobile, Ala. -- October 12, 2010 – Following her recent release of Forever, a 3-song digital EP, award-winning Latin artist Julissa presents the music video "What Else Can I Say," from her first-ever English language project.
Shot at historic landmarks in New York and Pennsylvania, the video places Julissa in Grand Central Station where she observes teens texting. As those around her reveal their hearts and brokenness, Julissa sings “What Else Can I Say,” a reminder of the salvation and restoration found in Christ.
From Grand Central Station, she moves on to the historic Packer Memorial Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she and her band continue to sing this infectious anthem, which was penned by Hillsong Music writer Mia Fieldes.
“Through the story of the video, we wanted to touch on four topics that affect our youth: abstinence, abortion, suicide and divorce,” says Julissa, who serves as a youth pastor for El Shaddai Bethlehem Ministries alongside her husband (and music producer) Mike Rivera. In fact, the video features four young people from her church who serve as the texting actors.
“Working with young people, we have been able to see their needs and see life from their perspective," she adds. “So we wanted to present the story using text messaging, which has become the language of their generation.”
Directed by Haroldo Poiret, the "What Else Can I Say" video is currently available online through http://www.youtube.com/integritymusic#p/u/5/kG1ayUR6sjA and http://vimeo.com/15690819 and soon will be transmitted through various television networks nationally and internationally.
